The Southwest Montana Addiction Recovery and Treatment Program opened on July 1, 2013 as a State-Approved Substance Use Disorder treatment program. State Block Grant funds are provided for each Montana county, and the Southwest Montana Addiction, Treatment and Recovery program was awarded the contract from Butte-Silver Bow County to provide these services. Medicaid, the Montana Help Medicaid Plan, and private health insurances are also accepted, and fees are assessed on a sliding scale.
The following services are provided by the Southwest Montana Addiction, Treatment and Recovery Program:
- ACT Classes and evaluations for those who have obtained a DUI as a requirement by the State of Montana.
- Substance Use Disorder evaluations provided by Licensed Addictions Counselors to determine if a Substance Disorder is present.
- Intensive Outpatient Services
- Outpatient Services
- Co-Occurring Disorder treatment (those with addictions combined with Mental Health concerns)
- Cognitive Principles and Restructuring Classes
- Anger Management Classes
- Adolescent Substance Use/Abuse Services
- Minor in Possession Education
- School-Based Services Plan Program
